Ice Hockey is one of the fastest team sports in the world where game officials are at the heart of the actions. Every year, our association offers education opportunities to become a game official and to try out this exciting role. Officiating is accessible to anyone and doesn’t require much to start: basic equipment on starting level usually contain skates, a whistle, black helmet with visor and a referee or linesperson jersey. Growing into their position within the national association gives the chance for several game officials to officiate on the worldwide stage.
